Instructional Design
& Development
I design and develop Web 2.0 collaborative learning environments for start-ups and multi-national organizations. I have over fifteen years experience with organizational development; evaluation, instructional design, technical documentation, implementation and maintenance of interactive communications that enhance productivity and optimize individual and workgroup performance.
I work closely with organizational leaders applying sociotechnical advances in research-based business results-focused learning; developing, delivering, managing and measuring employee performance. I have experience with traditional on-site and web-based hosted learning services (LCMS), including complex organizational change initiatives (BPR, ERP, and SOx compliance), deploying Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Wiki forms, best practices documentation/implementation, and business intelligence tools for gathering, managing and sharing knowledge assets.

Implementation & Project Management
I am experienced with site-based instructor-led training and online e-learning, integrating performance-based outcomes utilizing automated real-time feedback. I develop results-based content derived from subject matter experts (SME’s), applying inductive and deductive analysis.
For organizational-wide learning, I recommend SMEs work within the framework of PowerPoint to codify knowledge content. After the content is developed and approved by the SMEs, I add animation, voice and music to make the presentation entertaining and engaging. Then I can transfer the PowerPoint slides into a Flash presentation for the Web using a tool called Articulate. Articulate allows the instructor to add knowledge checkers to keep track of participants performance according to industry standards for corporate universities. This is called SCORM compliant.

Collaboration
I use open-source portals such as deployed for Western Union's GEMS project or more trendy collaborative social networking systems for businesses deployed for TAG. These collaborative learning systems are designed to help team members optimize communications for ongoing training and development—co-creating, managing and analyzing knowledge assets. This approach helps validate the training modules and keep the content relevant. I can also develop proprietary enablement platforms for collaborative learning.
Training and development is therefore designed to fit with the organization's structure, background, culture and predisposition for technology—a Sociotechnical System (STS). I believe that learning technology not only helps to validate technical training but also, facilitate peer review and knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining self-organizing communities—engaged and motivated people who value knowledge sharing and collaborative competition.
